Dynamic slings for hemiplegics (neurological damage to the upper limb).



Mechanical principle: this device enables active recoptation of the glenohumeral joint. The elastic strap exerts vertical traction on the humerus, applying the traction force to the elbow and homolateral shoulder.
Not suitable for a fractured arm or forearm.
The aim of the dynamic sling is to prevent or completely reduce glenohumeral subluxation, a source of shoulder pain and algodistrophy, while allowing patients to put the sling in place independently on a daily basis, without changing the initial setting.
