FLAT HAND SPLINT Thermo-Cast 4

Made from thermoplastic and lined with absorbent terry cloth to absorb moisture and increase comfort. The plastic can be moulded under a current of hot air. It has wrist and forearm straps with safety inserts and the thumb in velour. Restraint and control straps for MCP flexion in velour.

Its function is to achieve as complete limitation as possible of the mobility of the wrist, hand and fingers, maintaining them in slight flexion of 10º and abduction of the thumb. 

Neurological lesions of central or peripheral origin (flaccid and spastic palsy); as treatment for the prevention of deformities of rheumatic origin, pain alleviation and diminishment of inflammation. Carpal tunnel syndrome. Its characteristics allow for small adjustments and adaptations.
