The two new versions, XTern Frontier (which facilitates fitting thanks to the forward-projecting calf support) and Carbon (lighter), may touch the malleoli in cases of strong feet or oedema. They are less low-cut around the malleoli than the standard model. We recommend choosing the larger size if you are between sizes, so that you have a wider rear stirrup and avoid any pressure on the malleoli.
The duration of use of the test model will not exceed 15 days, in order to allow as many people as possible to benefit from it. Beyond this time, it will be considered as the item delivered definitively as part of your order. Because we will be obliged to make a new model available for testing requested by other customers.

The trial model you will receive has two screws and a key provided to adjust the position of the front stirrup according to your shoe size and type, so that you can try it out before purchasing.
Under no circumstances should you constantly loosen and tighten the screws on the final model to suit the shoes you are wearing. Once the stirrup is adjusted, it must remain in that position permanently. Once the stirrup is positioned and adjusted, it must not move. If you change shoes, you must take this final adjustment into account when purchasing your shoes and, if necessary, position the clip in the correct place on the new shoe so that it is adapted to the final adjustment previously made with the riser. If you tighten and loosen it several times, you risk damaging the screw thread, and there will be no replacement solution with a larger screw or adhesive for legal and liability reasons.
