It's provided with three anatomic, mouldable stays ensurig the block-up of any wrist movements; these stays can be removed so that the splint may fit the different rehab phases. RHIZOFIX, the thumb block system patented by Pavis, immobilizes the thumb from the inner side, leaving the opposite side free.
INDICATIONS
• Traumatic pathologies: distortions, metacarpal fractures; tendonitis affecting thumb flexor and extensor tendons; crushing contusion injuries.
• Degenerative pathologies: arthrosis, osteo-arthrosis, root arthrosis; rheumatoid arthritis; carpal tunnel syndrome radiating to the thumb.
