Articulated elbow brace to control flexion and extension

The elbow joint is a “hinge” joint which offers flexion and extension. Due to this fact, it has no compensations possibilities and doesn’t react well to injuries. In result, painful syndromes and immobilization make the elbow stiff and do not allow to extend it. The mechanism is made of bolt and two screws assembled to the ABS panel. This solution allows to receive smooth adjustment of the angle between arm and forearm. When the required angle is done, there is only necessary to screw the bolt to avoid involuntary angle changing.
