Heel-relief orthotic shoe

The heel-relief orthosis is made from glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene.
The design of the calcaneal shell (13) provides dorsal support in the calf area and support for the longitudinal arch (12) of the foot, so that the calcaneal bone is positioned floating in the orthosis. The foot is supported by the longitudinal arch component and the height compensation insole (9), which can be attached by Velcro. The height of the shoe on the healthy side can be compensated for by the heel wedge (11).
An opening at the back of the heel pad allows checks and provides better air circulation in the orthosis. The heel load pad set, which consists of a heel pad (8) and pressure pads (7), is used in accordance with the therapeutic plan and serves to gradually increase the load on the calcaneus.
The orthosis is intended exclusively for orthopaedic fitting of the lower limb and must only come into contact with intact skin.
