The Podartis fit chart allows you to find the shoe best suited to each foot shape in 3 easy steps.

- Step 1: In the "support points table", select the size of the foot in the first column, then look for the circumference of the heads of the metatarsals in the corresponding row. You'll find the letter of the corresponding size at the end of the column.

- Step 2: in the "product tables", look for the column corresponding to the size identified in step 1, then choose the product that suits you best. On the right-hand side of the column, you'll find the letter corresponding to the "Table of measurements".

- Step 3: Check the "measurements table" for the product you selected in step 2 to make sure that all the measurements match the foot you're looking at. If this is not the case, go back to the "Product tables" and choose another product of the same cut but with a different size table.

Fit is one of the two cornerstones of Perfect Fitting. The Podartis product range has been specially designed to offer a variety of different fits, from 11 to 18, to accommodate both feet with large deformities and bulky insoles.

NOTES ON TAKING CORRECT MEASUREMENTS
In order to choose the right shoe size for a foot at risk, it is important to respect the following measurement rules:

Length: always add between 7 and 10 mm to the measured length of the foot.

Volume: given that the shoe must contain both the foot with its deformations and the footbed, the dimensions of the footbed must be added to the actual volume of the foot measured.

Size: check that the width of the foot is adapted to the size of the shoe.
Instep: francesina (or Oxford) models are less fitted than derby models. In general, a more snug-fitting shoe means greater access for the foot, but also greater stability for the ankle.
